VISUAL MERCHANDISING

Ksubi constantly position themselves in the realm between art & fashion. Each retail store takes on its own persona.

Ksubis first retail store “the living dead” is textural, a time machine transporting you from here to the afterlife… come as you are.

Old world finishes, preserved robots in glass jars & plywood crypts set the emotional fabric, a loose & playful reference to the sadness & silliness of ‘the living dead’ in mexican folklore.

A world away from its Bondi cousin “the living dead”, Ksubi’s second retail store “From here to infinity” takes the electro pop journey through wall to wall mirrors set against ‘raw’ sandblasted concrete.

Located in the fashion precinct of Glenmore Rd, Paddington, the design provides for an interactive environment, using ‘white wire’ boxes cabled tied into merchandising modules. Modules could be easily reconfigured for product display according to seasonal changes.

Features include a shopfront lighting installation of fluorescent battens & pvc flex delivering a ‘pop edge’ which has become synonymous with the brand culture.
